Vaughan Hider

Senior Embedded Design Engineer (BE Hons)

Vaughan holds a Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Canterbury. He has experience in analog and digital hardware design and embedded software design. He enjoys working on a variety of projects and learning about new technology.

Prior to joining in InFact he worked at Tait Electronics for seven years in the Custom Integration Group. This group creates customised radio products to meet a client’s specific requirements. This work involved working closely with production engineering, manufacturing and other departments to ensure that the products he designed met internal and external standards. While at Tait Electronics he travelled to Brazil, Canada and the USA to commission and fault find radio systems that he was involved in designing equipment for.

Vaughan’s interests include reading, computers, radio controlled model aeroplanes and home improvement.
