Pacific Simulators – Flight Sim

Project Objectives

Replicating a Boeing 737NG, Pacific Simulators wanted a level 5 training platform with the ability to obtain an additional income stream as a retail experience.

Our Approach

InFact’s role in the project was the design reproduction of the complex throttle console module with all related control systems. InFact also designed the unseen supporting structures and methods of providing motorised mechanical resistance to the control interfaces to give the correct feel to the simulator.

Outcomes

When all these features are combined with the full functioning avionics and computers, and the photo-realistic image projection, the result is a true state of the art simulation package that has been successfully manufactured in numbers as a franchisable business opportunity. Both the CASA (Australia) and NZ CAA (New Zealand) have certified the simulator with limited instrument rating approvals for training purposes.
